Went to middle school and high school(grades6-12) the the gal Dusty Hill(beard toting ZZ Bassist) married. Bothen used to listen to them practice in a warehouse close to his house around the time Muddy Water turned to Wine and earlier. A guy I was in a band with(grade 8) his older brother was a groupie/roadie to them, lost his woman to Dusty that way! Ouch!
