It is Beethoven's 250th anniversary, a composer who is my favorite, and here is a piece that I listen to often, strongly recommended to listen to.

For anyone wanting to see an amazing live studio performance, check this out. It just blows me away every time I watch it. Totally sublime musicianship and song crafting.

It's a really slow builder, but boy does it build! He's a Mercury Prize winner and you may just recognise this song as the theme tune used in HBO's "Big Little Lies".

I have seen him in a little place in my city. We were around 40 persons. The Montreal jazz festival paid him to go in many cities in Quebec to promote the jazz festival.

After the show we talked to him. He is a very nice person and a fantastic musician. He played a nylon string guitar accompanied with another fine guitarist.

Music starts at 2:00

She sings for Unleash the Archers, my favorite melodic metal band. They are phenomenal, if you like metal at all and don't know them, look them up!

Does anybody else on Wikiloops love SAGA? Splendid guitar work on this track! The whole album (Security of Illusion) is full of heavy riffing and nasty solos.

I'm a big fan of Lars Danielsson. Here again with his partner in crime:

I'm always listening to John Prine, I first heard him in the 70s and I've been a fan ever since. I love the earthy, simplicity and humor in his songs like this one from an early album of his...

1979 - 1984 was the best era for german prog rock band Eloy. Don't you think? I don't really care for the rest of their discography, but I really enjoy going back to that era. And I love that particular tune, originally on their Planets album.
