well, cleared the cache and still the same....bummer..I guess I'll check back tomorrow...If anyone tries to message me I cannot view messages or see comments nor will my player play. hopefully tomorrow things will magically be back to normal..haha. have fun all

As I see we are still making progress on improvements for Wikiloops, which I think is great, thanks Richard for everything.
I use Chrome, Windows 10.
I can't open the last album published yesterday, "Luna Llena".
The last jam from last night has disappeared from my upload by ivax list, however it appears in Remixes of ivax tracks, wrongly.

naw, wasnt that bad. I ran a test registration on the new version earlier tonight, and that kinda killed something on the old site, I simply hadn't seen that one coming.

My lastest upload shows up in the latest upload list, but not in the list of my tracks. Works fine in the old version but not in beta.
Tested with android/chrome as well as windows 10/firefox

The next one is something I never noticed before but I just encountered it on beta as well as the old version:

Say you have a track with 4 musicians and each has uploaded a separate HD. So, in the HD Download list you`ll have the composite wav/mp3 as well as the individual HDs.

Now, if I were the 3rd in line and didn`t upload an HD, the list would still show the available HDs with a line behind my name saying "MySounds was too lazy" (or something similar)

So far so good....BUT...if the last in line did not upload an HD, the download list will only show the composite wav/mp3 but not any of the HDs, so it looks as if nobody at all uploaded any HDs.

Maybe I`m just confused (lack of sleep, an unhappy love affair or the weather are usually good reasons for that)...anyway, surely not a high priority issue, but I wonder if this doesn`t have an impact on the search/filter functionality.

v16 is just being updated again... todays deeds so far:
- made sure new member registrations via v16 do not crash v15 (oops)
- fixed missing second banner image on the profiles header
- fixed tracks showing chords tab that had no chords
- bit of layout fix on the comments (centered the comment vertically)



Good observation, and yes, why not show the available HD tracks in that scenario.

The background issue here is this: We need to determine whether to show the "hd" indicating label on the download button. That logic is obviously also used to distinguish which download-dialog-layout to display.
In your example, the button will not indicate "HD", as the uploading person of the current track has not provided the attachment. That does make sense imho, and the search engine will also not list this track as having high quality attachment, following that same logic.
A while back I toyed with separating the indicators for "HD" even further, so one could filter between "all remix steps must have attachments" and "at least the current remix + x must have attachments" - the current system supports the second approach, as we do not have that many branches where all steps have the attachment in place.

I love how the list of the current remix builds itself when I scroll through the remix tree. Makes it much easier to understand which branch I`m at. (Though the very first remix is always covered/hidden by the tree)

I noticed last night that if you make an album with the new version you can’t go all the way and publish it. Nothing serious, we can go back to the old version to finalize.

As you may have noticed, the new version is now live on wikiloops.com - so that's identical to what we've seen on v16 before.

I'll provide some pointers to what has been changed later today, currently watching the error log and patching smaller remaining issues like the album editing (that should work now).

Another bug: Jumping to the 1st branch/remix (2nd upload) in a mix with the 'GOTO' button fails if the artist is the same in both. In that case it jumps to the template/1st upload. This happens both in Chrome and Firefox. Examples: #294803 #305623 #305505

when songs are tagged with a word/keyword, when you click on it, the search doesn't yield any results. (tried with Chrome and Firefox)

if i do a manual search from the "Search" tab for the same word, there are results.

I have a playback problem. If I want to hear my own contributions in the "Tracks" tab, it sounds like an old record is being played. It crackles and crackles like a fireplace fire.

No, seriously, please let me know which browser is having the issues and re-confirm it is only happening on the tracklist / newsfeed and not on the track details page.
For a test, you might disable the frequency analyzer (there is that option in the settings-panel of the player now) to find out if that is disturbing the audio playback for some reason.
