Got up at 5.30 am, early for me especially on a cold Saturday
winter's morning! Checked out some youtube subscriptions, Allie Sherlock is always entertaining along with Jacob Koopman, can't get enough of those Grafton Street buskers!
Watched Jimmy Carter stopping by his childhood home in Plains Georgia on his way to lying in repose before his funeral. Sad to see good men pass although 100yrs ain't a bad innings in my book.
Checking the latest uploads and forum posts here is a given each morning, so much talent here, it's always nice to find a remix of one of your own uploads and a good start for the day. Onwards and upwards.:W

*have had musical diarrhea, that's where the jams just keep going, like musical/jam overload.

I'm later tonight as I was doing a very last minute remix upload.
Today has not been that good, I've been so indecisive, kept starting stuff then changing my mind. I have a few things to report however
* Boohoo my football team lost again, 5 times in a row now and that's with our new manager Ruud Van Nistelroy
* Walked 3 miles to Town and back in the cold
* I found a poem I started in 2021 I had written 4,000 words but got stuck and never finished. It was about a girl in a coma and the dreams and fantasies she was having. Anyway, I took a section from it and made a little song, you may hear it soon.
* The cost of cake is stupidly high now so I've decided to cut back and be healthier
Supper = a bowl of Irish stew and a Cornetto :)

Woke up this morning with eggs on my mind. It's Sunday, the day of choice for a traditional full English breakfast, eggs being an essential ingredient.
Yesterday a new personal world record was set by paying the most I've ever paid for twelve eggs, $10.89 :o I suddenly remembered an old UK black and white TV ad from my younger days. (Go to work on an egg) while thinking at this rate it will be cheaper to go to work by Uber.:@

*Gerry's post reminded me of the dozen eggs I bought, and I thought $8.99 for a dozen was a lot
*went to Home Depot, working on the final window shutter for the front of the house, hoping to have it stained today
*Gertie is in heat, even with a diaper on her Gizmo tries to constantly hump her
*was up late tweaking a song
* (Jan 5) just got up, time to brew some coffee

Day 5
Beautiful day, although a little cold. The weather forecast said it was -20.
Today I did not record anything, although I played bass for many hours. I didn't feel like spending many hours doing the mixing.
And yes... It takes me many hours to make a bass track, even if the end result doesn't always sound like it. :D:W
In a Wikiloops discussion, a member said today how nice it is to receive comments after posting music. I was ashamed of myself once again, because I realized that I was really lazy to write comments in English. The main reason is that I can't say things accurately, so I often don't write.
I didn't make a New Year's resolution, but maybe I still have time. I promise that this year I will leave more comments, and I also promise that I will try to start a song on Wikiloops at least once.

Aito has a good point, making comments or forum posts isn't easy for many non English speaking members, and also for musicians to read comments written in English so I really appreciate anyone who has a go, thank you all<3

" Woke up to a coating of snow but I was puzzled by footprints that appeared in the night, not a cat, bird, squirrel or a human so I assume it was a Yeti :D
* It's been a video making day today, put 2 on youtube - I don't do anything fancy, just write the lyrics, add a bit of colour and the odd gif, voila!.
* Had to watch the Liverpool/Man United match this afternoon for all the Liverpudlians in my family, it was a 2 all draw!
" Watched The Resident (Hospital drama] on Netflix (a daily thing) That is some Mother of a gory program but the story-lines are almost identical to New Amsterdam which I watched before. A show I've just stared watching is Murder Mindfully, I really like that, it's funny but also bloody and then there's some Karma lessons, what a mix - I think it's German dubbed :)
Dinner today = Salmon fishcake, chips and a chocolate mousse

A date in history that stands out like a kazoo in a four piece string quartet and still leaves a bitter after taste even now, exactly 4 years later.
On a lighter note I watched The Golden Globe Awards on TV last night and was quickly reminded just how old I am by the few actors, nominees, movies and shows I actually recognized.:o Not a shocking revolution given I haven't been to a cinema for at least ten years, maybe more! The only TV programs I get to see are those that tune in from an outside antenna. I cancelled cable and Dish years ago but somehow the dollars saved are nowhere to be found.:@

It's another cold morning here in California, it got down to the low thirties in the early hours. No comparison to the weather our east coast neighbors get this time of year I know but lets face it, we are west coast cold weather wimps.:)

***Drove to work - yellow engine light on again :@ Oxygen sensor. There are 4 of these hopefully not all need replacing!
***Got a WhatsApp from Mrs. Gee showing that the roof of the diesel tank in the garden has lifted in the gales and now is lying next to it. At least it seems it's not broken :|

Day 6
I went to the gym today. But that doesn't mean I'm doing anything there.
My workout is very simple. I talk to my gym mates for 1.5 hours while avoiding exercise. For me, the main thing about training is that I don't have to be home all day. :D
This reminds me of an old t-shirt I saw in my youth. The text on the shirt went something like this: Music saved me from sports.
I went to the gym today. But that doesn't mean I'm doing anything there.

* Started the day writing lyrics for a Rap asking wikiloopers to join the 'Diarists' I thought it could be a Jam with the posters here.
* Next I checked for hits on 2 youtubes I uploaded last night, pretty amazed to see 234. I rarely get comments but today I got one that said "Is that voice AI" even though my channel is called "Not A Bot Music" :(
* Emptied a cupboard that was overflowing with assorted stuff.... looked at it.... then stuffed it all back again
* Checked for new houses coming onto the market because I really want to move South. I've moved 5 times in the last 10 years but I can't settle while I still have a yearning for the sea and sandy beaches.
* The last 3 nights I've started to watch a film but fallen asleep half way through. Matt Damon and Casey Affleck in something last night, I woke up in time to see it was a rip off of the Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid ending.
* Had a short evening stroll, people have taken their xmas lights down so it was dark and boring :(
Dinner = Shepherds Pie and Vanilla Yoghurt

Rakas päiväkirja. Shamika kehoitti tämän päivän laulussaan kirjoittamaan päiväkirjaan, vaikka omalla äidinkielellä. En tiedä onko tämä paras idea, mutta ainakin saan hämmennystä aikaan. :D
Nauhoitin tänään epävireisen punk biisin, mutta en tiedä vielä julkaisenko sitä. Olen viime aikoina ollut hieman tuskastunut omaan soittotaitooni, sillä yritän soittaa liian vaikeita biisejä. No se on normaalia minulle, että yritän kivuta perse edellä puuhun.
Muuten päivä on ollut hyvin tavallinen. Teen vielä japanin läksyni ja lähden illalla escrima harjoituksiin. Vaikka huonohan minä niissä olen, en käytä kumpaankaan juurikaan aikaa.
Voisin piruillessani vielä mainita, että söin tänään kalakukkoa. Tiedän että Google kääntäjä ei kykene kääntämään tuon ruuan nimeä järkevästi, joten hämmennys jatkukoon.
Niin, ei minulla mitään asiaa ollut. Laitan kuitenkin tähän loppuun muutaman nimen, jotta hämmennys olisi täydellinen. Rootshell,Bluvation,TeeGee,Shamika jne.. Kiva kun pidätte Foorumia pystyssä. Varsinkin kiitän Shamikan arvokasta työtä erilaisen Wikiloopsin eteen!

Ha, me Wikilooperit emme ole niin helposti sekaisin. Vain suomalaista punk-musiikkia on vaikea ymmärtää.:@

Nauhoitin tänään epävireisen punk biisin, mutta en tiedä vielä julkaisenko sitä. Olen viime aikoina ollut hieman tuskastunut omaan soittotaitooni, sillä yritän soittaa liian vaikeita biisejä. No se on normaalia minulle, että yritän kivuta perse edellä puuhun.
Muuten päivä on ollut hyvin tavallinen. Teen vielä japanin läksyni ja lähden illalla escrima harjoituksiin. Vaikka huonohan minä niissä olen, en käytä kumpaankaan juurikaan aikaa.
Voisin piruillessani vielä mainita, että söin tänään kalakukkoa. Tiedän että Google kääntäjä ei kykene kääntämään tuon ruuan nimeä järkevästi, joten hämmennys jatkukoon.
Niin, ei minulla mitään asiaa ollut. Laitan kuitenkin tähän loppuun muutaman nimen, jotta hämmennys olisi täydellinen. Rootshell,Bluvation,TeeGee,Shamika jne.. Kiva kun pidätte Foorumia pystyssä. Varsinkin kiitän Shamikan arvokasta työtä erilaisen Wikiloopsin eteen!

Oli pakko kirjoittaa yksinkertaista suomea. Pelkäsin, että Google kääntäjä räjähtää, jos kirjoitan murteella. :D Jätin siis tekstiin vain muutaman kohdan tahallisesti, joissa kääntäjällä on vaikeuksia :)
