SHAMMY Challenge Week 10th - 17th March

The Challenge (If you decide to accept it) is to add a song every day from Monday 10th to Monday 17th.
BUT each song must have a connection to the 'Special Days' listed below :)

* MONDAY 10th is "International Day of Awesomeness" OR "International Bagpipe Day"

* TUESDAY 11th is "National Dream Day" OR "World Plumbing Day"

* WEDNESDAY 12th is "Plant a Flower Day" OR "Alfred Hitchcock Day"

* THURSDAY 13th is "National Jewel Day" OR "Elephant Day"

* FRIDAY 14th is "World Sleep Day" OR "Learn about Butterflies Day"

* SATURDAY 15th is "Everything you think is wrong Day" OR "Tequila Day"

* SUNDAY 16th is "National Panda Day" OR "A Day that celebrates whatever" Make your own Day today!

MONDAY 17th is "Saint Patrick's Day" This is the big one, any song that celebrates Ireland OR "Green Day"

Hi Challengers :) I hope you are all preparing to add your first song in the SHAMMY Challenge Week. You have a choice of 2 subjects, so no excuses :)

Monday 10th March is 'International Day of AWESOMENESS' :-

1) Celebrate your own "Awesomeness" with a wikiloops upload about feeling confident, self approval, say what's 'Awesome' about your life rather than putting yourself down (like many of us do) We are all special in some way :W - It can be just your song title OR if you sing, add some awesomeness lyrics

OR...
Monday 10th March is also International BAGPIPE Day

2) A day to honor the bagpipes. People either love them or hate them I think. Because we don't have many Bagpipers at wikiloops I will extend this to any piped instrument.... or possibly just any song with a Scottish theme :)

You can link us in this thread either via the wikiloops box icon or the youtube box if you have a video.... or just add the wikiloops track number and we'll find it.

Have a go, you'll make at least one wikilooper very happy <3

Likewise, Bagpipe Day should be paired with World Sleep Day.

Thanks to Gerry for that amusing "Bagpipe Day" song :W and to Kells for an early "Dream Day" contribution. :W
I think the "Dream Day" was originally about The American Dream, aspirations and such but imagine if Martin Luther King had actually said "I have a nightmare" instead of "I have a dream" it wouldn't be far off from coming true would it :o

This Challenge is open to all and the Day titles are quite ambiguous. I appreciate it's a big ask to get wikiloopers to take part so I'm glad to see any brave soul and any linked song. Also you don't need to do all 7..... but I'd love people to have a go and do as many as they can :)

2) Alfred Hitchcock Day (he made so many films with great titles e.g. The Birds, Psycho, Rear Window.... and the list goes on, google them)

If someone wants to join in don't worry if you missed a couple of days, it's just a bit of fun ya know :) And if you don't have anything of your own, why not look through the wikiloops search for anything that fits that you like.
