The Recording Interface
A very boring Terratec Phase-88 8-in firewire interface. It's a bit old these days - I have to use a Firewire-to-Thunderbolt adapter on my Mac - but it gives me 8-track simultaneous recording with stupidly low latency. There's two phantom powered XLR connectors on the front left which power my overheads, the rest of the mics are connected through 1/4" jacks in the back. And that's what I need to record drums! The headphones are Vic Firth noise-isolating headphones. That's their way of charging £70 for a pair of ear-defenders (yes, the same as people who do roadworks wear) with speakers in them.
