Embedding images and YouTube video on wikiloops

You may embed images and youtube video in comments, messages, chat and forum posts.
Images must be online on a server that allows fetching the image and can be accessed via secure connections (the web address of the images should start with https).

To embed an image, click on the image-icon offered below the comment or post submit-button and enter the images web address in the opened popup prompt.
The embedding tool will insert a line of code into the text-field which looks like this:

Above code embeds the image once you submit the comment or post.

To embed a youtube video, click on the YouTube-icon offered below the comment or post submit-button and enter the videos web address in the opened pop-up prompt.
The embedding tool will insert a line of code into the text-field which looks like this (the characters between the tags are the youtube videos reference ID):

Above code embeds the video once you submit the comment or post.

Hyperlinking to wikiloops tracks

To reference a wikiloops track from within wikiloops, you can simply type a hash-tag followed by the tracks ID number: "#816" will be displayed as a click-able link to track 816 automatically.

You may also link to a specific moment of a track by entering the playing time you would like to reference as minute:seconds, like 1:42 or 0:16, followed by a blank space.
Such timestamps will be displayed as a click-able link, which lets the audio player start at the given time.

Hyperlinks leading to non-wikiloops webpages

It is generally permitted to post hyperlinks to web-pages, as long as these web-pages do not collide with our community guidelines or offer services or content which does not comply with applicable law.
Links to commercial websites are allowed, as long as the offered goods or services are in any way relevant to the average musician, and as long as the posting users relation to the company is openly communicated.
Web addresses starting with http* or simply with www.* will be displayed as click-able links automatically.
