Heard this..Loved it..I get alot of advice to stay away from the vocalist..Understood..So I tried it once again. But I saw an opportunity ..or so I thought :) Always love input and open to it as I progress. Wiki is my daily practice :) Thanks to all of the great musicians here for all you do!

Who told you to stay away from the vocalist? I feel many of these vocal tracks are created too soon (before the band is done with the comp) In real life vocals are laid last. Here we have to go with what we got. When rules, even advice on how to play here start forming I'm outta here. Now that I've ranted, I'm with G, you get the thumb :)

LOL. Sax advice: Stay away from the vocalist. ha! I dare ya to play a smooth sax line under her voice at some point. I bet you could make it sound great.

All suggestions I get are from great musicians..Remember..my last Band experience was in 1973..and we never had vocalists..Uh oh..Don't wanna start a war here..lol After all..usually there's someone playing anyway..Maybe the suggestions were meant to be way behind them :)
