Beautiful song from Alice! Her original upload sounded fantastic with the programmed drums, to be honest, but I couldn't resist a go anyway. Love the idea of the strong but pared-back beat. Although posted under 'reggae' I felt something more straightforward would work well.

So that's what I played. Very straightforward time, switching between 8th notes and 16th notes on the hi-hat. Not a lot else, really. Barely any fills and just a few punctuations on the hi-hat. Love the challenge ...

Just got back my free time to check on loop, and I'm so happy to see lot's of drums posts from you...

you took this track to another direction, which what I think works well, you gave more air for this track to breathe, it flow with the vocal in a very cool way too, I like this idea Martin, so hear your drums on this track, thank you very much :)
