jmrukkers I'm sure you'll enjoy the loops, much fun to be had here. Best to keep your tracks centered, bass in the middle, that makes it easier for others to add. +1

jmrukkers The Help section may provide for some useful tips (reachable from the top navigation bar). There is also good material in the Forum. +1

johhny2gun hey jm question about what you said below: I WAS recording one bass track loud centred but the mix tended to sound bad often. So instead of cranking up gain at the source..I now record one bass track low and then duplicate it while putting each track left & right. Is that bad for others to use for remixes? +0

jmrukkers Hi Johhny that should be fine. What also works well for bass tracks that don't fit in well is applying a small bit of reverb to blend them in. +0

welcome to the 'loops! Like me, you seem to appreciate adams "straight off the mic" drums ;) Looking at the waveform in the player, it is quite obvious you mixed a little too loud - too many peaks hitting the the edge there... just one more newbee hint to watch out for... like your bass playing! +1

Dick that is not so - it's not YOU being too loud, its the mixdowns level :) I'm all good about your balance of bass and drums. +1

Ernie440 hehe back in the day, overdrivin and bass only on the left side .. oh my!! :D +0

Simple progression if someone wants to jam over it. It's in E .. goes to A briefly a few times and then up to C-B-A and back to E again. :) +0
