so, spent another few days wrestling with the free text search and just updated the .com, .fr and .de domains.
I hope you'll recognize the change for the better :) It was quite a hefty task digging into the secrets of a good free text search algo - must say my respect for the google guys grew once more doing it :)
Speaking of the big guys, it does require some good humor from my side to accept that the great engine of bing has still not decided that wikiloops.com is a search term that might be typed by someone looking for wikiloops.com - they still offer various pages on the "loops" keyword, ignoring us all the way... all one can do is improve and wait - but seeing the google algo seems to be quite fond of the recent changes (seeing A LOT more hits from google these days), it would be kinda nice to see other engines follow that lead. we'll see :)
