Having learned music mostly by ear I discovered minor and major scales sharing the same notes only recently after 30+years. So you see Shamika; we're not all virtuosos here:D

That's absolutely fascinating shiihs although it's much too late in life to start understanding how and why these combinations of keys have such different effects on our mind and body.
It's such a natural thing to respond to a key change or a 'killer' note that you want to hear again.

Playing by ear (Gees 17) makes sense to me, we don't always need to know how stuff works to enjoy the results.

I'm a big fan of ebony keys, they just take you to new progressions and add interest.
Predictability is fine for certain genres however, and for singers it makes life easier. Thank you <3:W
