Today I turned a great song into a Twerking Alien shambles..... but it was such good fun and the feedback was nice so I made a little youtube for it. Hope it makes you smile :)

LOL that is a funny video :D But also disturbing and frightening. Aliens used to be scary because of the probing, now they are twerking, too. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!

Last week was nice. I saw a magic show in the mall, which I really liked. On the other hand, I was constantly afraid that I would have to be an assistant on stage, because for each trick an assistant was chosen from the audience 😁

I also saw fireworks on the same day. I never get tired of that.

The best part of the week was when a long-awaited Finnish movie came to the movies. I rarely go to the movies because they are always too long, but this time I made an exception. And I was not disappointed, I loved the first part of the Sisu movie a few years ago, Sisu 2 was just as good.

Now I'm going to play a Uriah Heep song with the band. Too bad Gypsy is too difficult for that band, because there's a song that I really want to play.

Sometimes when you search for a template you find exactly what you want but it turns out to be years old with no-one still around to hear what you did with it. This makes me sad in a way.
For example I just added a vocal to a great Ska mix where the original member only ever uploaded 5 tracks. I think maybe you get less plays if listeners don't recognise anyone in the mix.
However there are some old templates that go on and on, particularly drum tracks, even if the drummer hasn't been to the loops for many years. I wonder if they still look in now and then!

I'm sure some do from time to time but then unfortunately some have since passed. I think it's a nice way to honor their work here on wikiloops by adding to one of their templates or collaborations and also a reminder of them for members and friends still here.:):W

I will try to find a stream with English subtitles of the Sisu movie. I love foreign movies, over the years I got sick of the Hollywood productions, they are so lame with their caricature depiction of the "heroes". Sorry Americans but taste in arts is what it is... then there is Netflix, where they push certain things in every movie and every show that does not make any sense. Anyways, Mrs. Gee and I love watching Japanese, Chinese, or Korean series, they are much better in that sense. Love me a good Japanese crime movie. But, Mrs. Gee especially is hooked on Scandinavian thrillers :D So, I am going to try to watch it, thanks for the tip Aito :W

I'd forgotten about the Diary until I saw Navota's post.
I think the threads have done well to last so long but comparing it to January there were so many more people joining in.
We even had a bunch of people making live videos of driving, cooking, DIY, We saw people's houses, gardens, pets... we had news about family, hobbies and leisure.
Lots of music was discussed and posted.
We found out what people had for dinner.... it was all so interesting but now.... well, I guess the novelty has worn off and November won't live to tell any tales.
I haven't done anything new or different, it's just the same ol' same ol' :( I'm only posting here now because since the clocks went back I have an extra hour to kill.

Goodbye Diary, maybe I'll see you again after Christmas :)

Well, the diary is going to continue by hook or by crook or by cook, we are not giving up that quickly ;) I actually find it quite nice, the shoutbox is too small for any meaningful texts. We will see.

I went to the doctor the other day for my 2 year general check up, that I am entitled to every two years. I will spare you the gory details, but mainly it was ok. Some blood values are in the green, however a bit on the high side such as cholesterol. That in itself is strange as I don't eat a lot of meat at all, so it must be genetics... but, generally I feel good, and I am pretty fit for my age.
Yesterday I went to the gym, 1.5 hours and did the following:

30 min Crosstrainer interval on pretty strong level
5 min warm up for shoulders and back
Then I started a series of pull ups, 6 each time, 59 pull ups altogether. In between each 6 pull ups, I did other things mainly leg stuff:
3 sets of Leg extension machine
3 sets leg press machine
2 sets calves raise machine
After that:
3 sets two arm standing dumbbell extension
Farmers walk with 2 x 32.5 kg about 60 seconds
Farmer walk with right hand 32.5 kg around 50 seconds
Farmer walk with left hand 32.5 kg around 50 seconds
3 sets of dumbbell shrugs with 32.5 kg in each hand

Then I was pooped and went for a shower :D

Today I probably will feel some light muscle ache, but that is normal. If I don't have it, I feel I did not do enough. No half measures in the gym :D

You might be disappointed in that case. The plot is everything we loved about 80s action movies. 🙂

You probably don't need subtitles for this movie, the plot is simple. You'll understand what I mean if you watch it. 😁

I have an idea for an new movie, it's going to be in the direction of Jaws meets Predator/Aliens. It will be called "Herring-swim or get tinned". It's the story of a doomsday oar fish swimming and fighting for his life in an interstellar aquarium generation ship, stranded in space, his mainframe computer "Shamika" gone mad and communicates only in sung riddles and chirpy songs, his only friend is a maintenance cyborg called Aito and a decaff coffee machine computer called Helmut. And somewhere on the ship an intruder is causing havoc with the PH value of the water, overfeeding the fish and tampering with the decorative rocks on the bottom :O .

Naturally, I will play the main character, as it is based on a true story.

Communications from "Shamika" the mad computer.
Please be aware, there will be no fictional film for this story.... it will simply be a useful documentary. Here is the script:-

The Giant Oarfish has no teeth, his muscle mass is weak.
He's sometimes called the Doomsday Fish, predicting an Earth plate creak.

He can't survive in shallow water, sharks will spot him soon
You'll rarely see him swimming now, they're sending him to the Moon.

Is he a snake or a fishy friend, with his silver, tapered look?
His head is small but his jaw extends, he's much too boney to cook.

If you eat his liver snippets, you really won't want more
Or like the giant fish himself, you'll end up floundering on the shore.

As a footnote I will remind people that I was formally known as JAWS due to the initials of my birth name :)

For me it would be a verry special month And it's the result of buying my first native american style flute in 2013. After 40 year spending my vacation on a childern's Holliday camp. This year I'm invited to go to America and visited some flute festivals and admaire nature. I Met someone on facebook who playes the flute. I met her already twice in Holland. Now I'm going to join her on an 18 day trip. Even gone join a flute contest in Melborn Florida and go to an other festival near Houston. As my flute brought my to met people in Begium,to the Wikiloops meeting now it bring my to the place the first one was made. I'm bit nervous because never travelled that far. So my flutes are packed and warm clothes for cold nights at the campsite. I Finely can play my flutes in the montains wonder how it sounds.
