Yes I watched the games, not all because of time difference and also as most games in the group stages are not really of high quality. But it gets there slowly.
Cape Verde, what a great story, with their 40 year old goal keeper! Love it!
I'd love it if an African team would make the finals.
I support England by the way, been an England supporter since the 80ies - I have to be careful here in Germany with that :D :D :D . But I grew up on English music, English Motorcycles, English football, Manchester United, so... Maybe this time it will happen, with a German coach ;)

Been busy rearranging the "studio" layout.
Got a new additional desk so that I now have a recording space and a separate mixing space which I can also use for video editing which is something I`m slowly starting to experiment with. It`s not that I have a ton of hardware or outboard stuff but having more space just feels more comfortable. Still, even with limited hardware, hooking everything up was a drag.
On the bright side, my youngest son won the silver medal at the Special Olympics National Games on saturday. Where he gets that drive from, I have no idea.

I'm not a big football fan, but my wife likes to watch these games, so I'm with her most of the time.
Slowly making my way up with my step counting. Goal for this week is 9,000 steps/day, so next week it should all back to normal after I broke my heel bone...

That would be nice :W:) the England/German rivalry in football is much like that between England/Scotland and England/Australia in Cricket I think, It's produced some classic matchups over the years :W
Speaking of English motorbikes, the only one I've owned was back in the 60s, a 250cc Francis-Barnett or Fannie-B as they were commonly named. I lost my nerve riding it after coming off on the Southend Arterial one winter, I've been a four legs on the ground kind of guy ever since :D

I was listening to a lovely remix here and the comment I made was "I have goose bumps" I wondered if this phrase would be understood outside of the UK. I also wondered what caused this reaction. (see picture below) Apparently there's a muscle at the base of a hair the starts working when you're cold, frightened... but in my case when you are emotionally moved. I found out that it all started with Cave men. Supposedly they would look bigger and more scary when Goose bumps kicked in. I can't see it would make any difference if he was facing a hungry Mamoth :)
