September Diary - the show must go on

Guys meet Hairy and Bar-Steward. A few days ago Hairy appeared in the guest toilet sink, when I washed my hands he sort of moved out of the splash zone. We ignored each other however I think he did not like getting wet. So after a few days he had enough and brought along his much bigger pal. I did not wash my hands. I left quietly. 1:0 spiders. I'll be back! I might get a monguse or a some sort of snake that eats spiders! I warned you Hairy and Bar-Steward! Ail be back

I have a birthday coming up soon :( I really haven't celebrated those since the age of 21 :D I thought this year I'd try to get to see the sea... or a large lake... or a small mountain... or even a big city that I'd never visited before. I probably won't do anything, I'm so lazy these days. What I like to do is find a youtube of a journey filmed from a train driver's cab, it's almost as good as the real thing but cheaper and more comfortable :)

Half way through September almost, these days seem to fly by. I read somewhere yesterday that the average mind makes 35,000 decisions every day :o That's some heavy doo doo for the average Joe to contemplate while deciding on his second cup of coffee:)

Little late as a diary entry but...

There was a big music flea market event on saturday in Hamburg. Went to see if there were any mixing consoles on offer and to meet folks from the local music scene. But within 2 minutes I saw a Jazz Bass in mint condition and made it mine. But I did stay strong when someone offered me a complete Marshall stack at a good price.

i haven't posted in the diary in a long time. the only thing that recently happened was i fell down. i guess when you get older, falling down becomes a thing lol :D i was in a hurry last week to get out the front door, and we have a pet gate in the front yard that sections off an area near the door, my foot/shoe clipped it as i was hurrying, and i fell with all my weight on my left knee, on the concrete. it hurt like a mofo. if you've never heard "mofo", here's a link :) https://share.google/aimode/TwWMSwTro01QAazAK
it happened so quickly too. anyways, i was in immediate pain, i rolled over and tried to get up, and even though my knee/leg area was completely numb, i was able to get up and come inside. i didn't think i broke or fractured anything, but went to urgent care to get checked out and get x-rays, all was good, just a huge bruise and swelling. a week later it still hurts. guess i'll be slowing down a bit and more careful now.

Just an update on 'The thing in my attic' There has been a camera installed with an alarm. Now I've actually seen the little critter... I know how he gets in :W

Oy 😂 I was looking shiny and new, woke up early did a 5k run and then exersizes on the beach, showered, shampooed, hair fixed by Mes. Gee. No sir, no scruffyness there B)

P. S. That looks like a cute squirrel! I had cameras set up in my garden and caught a Marten, wild boar, several cats, deer and I know there are foxes.

I was having my coffee this morning when I heard the sound of hooves... Two horses and a donkey were ambling past my window... Their owner was following behind, trying to catch up with them—needless to say, it was a lost cause! A large English horse, a Pinto, and the Saint-André donkey... Guess who was leading this trio of runaways? The little donkey!!! He was the boss !!! After much patience—and while wearing slippers—I managed to catch the donkey using a strap, all while dodging kicks from the Pinto mare... Off I went for 500 meters, clinging to the stubborn beast as he ran to avoid returning to his paddock... What a rodeo! I finally succeeded, though not without losing a slipper along the way and ending up with a cold coffee :)
