Telling me that I can't do something is probably the best way to motivate me. Saying something will be easy or "you've got this" tends to multiply any self doubt and makes me reluctant to give it a try even though I still appreciate the intended encouragement.
Group hype tends to leave me a bit cold, but I know for some it works. Congrats after an achievement is always appreciated, even though it might not always be deserved :)

Friday 11th

Inspired by the "Woohoo" that comes every Friday (on the Shoutbox)

You may not work or you have a different routine so Friday may not get you excited.

Q. What makes you shout "Woohoo" regularly these days ?
Also, when was your best Woohoo moment ever ?

Woohoo that's a good Question ;)

1) When my beloved Manchester United scores a good goal (and does not lose the game), it's definitely a woohoo. Actually yesterday I did a few of those :D .

2) Best Woohoo moments? There are a few, for instance

**The first time I kissed a girl I woohooed for days I think, and there were a few other girl related moments I will not mention here ;)

**The first time I rode the first Motorcycle I bought, wow that was wooohoooooooooohoooohohohohohoho :D

** when my dad gave me 100 Dollars when I was 16 to buy a guitar and I went to the music shop and got my used Yamaha acoustic guitar - that was Woohoo of epic propotions.

**The first time I saw the lovely Mrs. Gee it was "Hello!" and then woohoo :D

But the best Woohoo's by far are all related to my beloved children, so much joy and pride. I am a lucky son of a woohoo!

I'm having trouble deciding between a "Woohoo" a "Wow" and a Whoa"

I Woohoo when I fix a technical problem or win an argument.
I Woohoo when I get that first glimpse of the sea after a long journey.

I never Woohoo my football team, that's more of a Boohoo :(

Wednesday 16th September.
Today's question delves into how brave you are, how adventurous you are and how stupid you might be :o

Q 1. Are you into 'extreme sports and adrenaline filled activities' like Skydiving, Bungee Jumping, Abseiling, Wing rides, Caving, Kayaking, Climbing, Skiing.... or whatever?

Q 2. Are you a bit of a wimp when it comes to taking risks or doing stuff that panics you like riding a Roller Coaster or a Ferris wheel, Fast Driving, Jumping off a Diving Board, Trying unusual foods, doing a Live Gig.... or whatever :|

I've never been an adrenaline junky. I prefer peacefulness.

I wouldnt say I enjoy risks but I'm not afraid to try something new, like food or going down a new road I've never been. exploring is always fun.

Nice one

Q1: I used to do a bit of kayaking until I once nearly drowned being stuck upsidedown underwater between two rocks. Parachuting is still on my list but don`t know if I will ever get around to it.

Q2: Trying something new yes but not because of the adrenaline buzz. I`m just curious within limits.
