Biography

I sing the music of Michael Cohen (my husband) and we perform as Complicated People (https://complicatedpeople.com). I've written and co-written a few of our songs.

I love to harmonize and I'm pretty darned good at it.

Influences are Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Patsy Cline, Judy Garland, Dusty Springfield, Leslie Gore. Along with Michael's music, I love jazz and old rock and roll.

Instruments

I'm primarily a vocalist. I've been playing a little melodica with the band and the occasional rhythm instrument. I would really love to own a theremin.

Recording devices

I have a RØDE condenser mic and a couple of Shure SM58s going into a Focusrite Vocaster Two to my iMac and GarageBand.
