GlezBass a good compressor pedal is very important to level the volume of the slap, I am self-taught watching videos on YouTube and practicing, I also see essential to cover the strings non-percussion so they do not sound for sympathy or error in the slap stroke, it is not easy The technique, here little slap session in live with my nephew in the percussion of the cajon ...

GlezBass Thanks eGiL :) I use the bass in passive mode with a bit of bass tone on the amplifier and some compressor on the analog pedal and on the digital track, gain adjusted on the digital signal so as not to saturate the slap beat. Good final sound ;) +0
