An experiment speeding up 121187. Makes it shorter, but a bit more lively. Quality probably suffers, but I can't tell on my primitive rig. Your opinion?
Stef
Well, experimenting is always nice and important but I prefer surely the previous remix. This is unnatural for me and then it was just that "slow mode" that enriched your superb game with the sax. +2
Wade
Wade Thanks Stef. Always good getting honest feedback, and I'm not very attached to either one. Just some experimental things to try out. +0
GrooveEnth
Interesting. I immediately liked the faster pace but felt like it didn't quite 'sit' as well as the original on first listen. But going back and listening to the original I think this is better. Might have just taken it down just a few bpm from here but this is closer to the right tempo IMHO. +1
Wade
Wade Yea, I hear you. Just wondered what it would sound like 20% faster (with tuning adjusted back down). +0
eGiL
Haha! I like this experiment, sax sounds wonderful :D Bass sounds a bit stressed ;) +1
Wade
Wade If we were actually paying this fast we would have all been stressed! +0

blimey! mixing now! nice one, you old rocker you :) +1
Wade

AKchen
with such perfection ... awesome :W +1
Wade
Wade Thanks Akchen. +1
OliVBee
doesn't sound very natural to me ... especially the drums ! +1
Wade
Wade Thanks OliVBee your fine ears are always appreciated. +1
GlezBass
You do not usually hear it on rock tracks, does the sax seem a bit distant, or does it have some effect? Wade rocker !! :W +1
Wade
Wade Using a guitarist's box with 1/5th up and expression pedal to bring the effect in and out. Sopranino is already pretty high, so it's not as much like a tone as an effect. +1
slin
this is cool too but i like the first one best...;););) +1
Wade
Wade Thanks Nils. Just an experiment...seems the majority prefer the original. Oh well! +1
frankyguitar
Great experiment, cool result!!!
For better sound would cool you all played it in that speed. Damn, this would be great fun ! :D

Wade
Wade Possible, but difficult to improvise at that speed. Not much of a problem if a practiced routine. +1
frankyguitar
frankyguitar Yes Wade.
Unfortunately I'm so lazy in practiced :| :o
But I really should do more....
