Darkness at speed
...max 6 musicians (at this time..!)
An experiment speeding up 121187. Makes it shorter, but a bit more lively. Quality probably suffers, but I can't tell on my primitive rig. Your opinion?

Well, experimenting is always nice and important but I prefer surely the previous remix. This is unnatural for me and then it was just that "slow mode" that enriched your superb game with the sax.

Thanks Stef. Always good getting honest feedback, and I'm not very attached to either one. Just some experimental things to try out.

Interesting. I immediately liked the faster pace but felt like it didn't quite 'sit' as well as the original on first listen. But going back and listening to the original I think this is better. Might have just taken it down just a few bpm from here but this is closer to the right tempo IMHO.

Yea, I hear you. Just wondered what it would sound like 20% faster (with tuning adjusted back down).

You do not usually hear it on rock tracks, does the sax seem a bit distant, or does it have some effect? Wade rocker !! :W

Using a guitarist's box with 1/5th up and expression pedal to bring the effect in and out. Sopranino is already pretty high, so it's not as much like a tone as an effect.

Possible, but difficult to improvise at that speed. Not much of a problem if a practiced routine.
