Lothar, you play well, but the sound of your bass lacks some deepness. If you pimp it up a little bit with some effects, EQ to enhance the low frequencies, a little sustain, a little chorus - it could have been much more "bass-like"... You record very dry isn't it? Though it's nice, good timing.

hmmm, I agree with Lutz. Very middy sound for a bass. I might just copy your lines which are cool, but this needs some low end with a warm hug. Away with those yellow mids. Good timing all the way, like the tune.

no, not all the time, but certain mids are yellow. So much is sure ;-)

@lutz yes you are right, I always have a very dry record. I don't have experience with effects. And it's a acustic bass in microfon direct in the PC. I try to remix this track and hope you all can give me some hints.
