Its a free vst that is very high quality. Its called "Density" You run your entire mix thru it and it not only increases the level but it also seperates and brings instruments forward. You have to use it very carefully or else everything sounds tinny.

You can try finding mix "saturation" plug ins for MAC. Im sure Density isnt the only one. Its basically an EQ'd preamp for the mix. The other thing I can recommend that I know is MAC is AAmes mastering software. The cool thing is you can run a Wikiloops mix you love thru it, it will analyaze the song from every level and when you do your mix , if its close, it will give your mix the same feel. Or you can use the Mastering presets. Mastering is 4 things...Level adjustment, Multi Compression on the instruments, EQ'ing and a touch of preamp like Density.
