Err no - but maybe it was already out of tune? :D Have to admit it sound a little off when I was trying to play whole notes but not too bad for percussive stuff...

Hehe, well it was about a quarter of a note off...so i couldn't live with that! But when slapping you won't notice it that much....i was just too lazy to tune my bass to it :P

Well not _just_ this but yes, have been trying to make a conscious effort at slapping rather than just dismissing it. Don't worry - not going to slap on everything though I may over-indulge a bit for the next couple of months :)

I dunno - I always thought hitting things with sticks was pretty cool. Drumming was out of the question for me though - no way the parents would have made room in the house!
