The Summer Sunset

Summer has passed but still summer like lately and and I could not resist Mario's Wonderful composition with his Beautiful flowing Bass chords and Bass lead with the cool vibe of jazz100's beat. I added 1:44-3:36 and 4:45-5:40. Lots of open space for others.

Thanks so much, Mario!!! I appreciate it!!! Jazz Samba with Getz and Guitarist Charlie Byrd was ground breaking defining a Jazz approach. Your bass playing creativity reminds me of the bass groove in that Fantastic album.

Another great ad from you Dan. I like the way you subtly use different phrasings (?) (About 2: 30-2.33, 3.07) to make the sax solo. This sounds very good and creates an additional listening experience.

when you play, it sounds so easy and relaxed! When I try something here, I notice that it is not that easy:)
It is a great pleasure to listen to you! +1

Thanks so much, Peter!!!! You too sound so relaxed on flute so I am assuming you mean your sax playing. For me, it was stop playing clarinet and flute and just concentrate on a pure tenor sax embouchure that ensured I placed the mouthpiece(mpc) on the very tip of my lower lip instead of further into my lower lip so I could play from low C to altissimo F# without changing the mpc position on my lower lip, then practicing to always blow an even flow of air or as I say "blowing consistently through when playing fast or slow and stop erratic air flow. The same theory works on flute, trumpet, etc. The Last thing was embracing Dizzy Gillespie's interview when he was asked what should you young players concentrate on to play "good" music. His answer was developing an exceptional tone because that is your first impression to listeners.

Thank you Dan, I see what you mean. I love all my instruments and want to play them all like the flute:) I think for me it's about going for a copromise. With the saxophone I noticed that the quality of the sound is related to my emotional mood. Sometimes I am satisfied with the sound and sometimes I don't manage to produce a respectable sound, then I reach for the flute.;)

You are so correct!!!!! Same with me!!! I had to make a compromise and as much as I loved playing my original and only instrument that I studied with classical lessons for years, my love was with the tenor sax and how to get better!!!
