Well I woke up this morning …Got me some bad news ..On the telephone
I learn that Johnny …Past away last night
They say they found him lying on the bed
With a needle in his hand
Trying to reach his arm they said
Now I have told Johnny many times
That the needle was going to do him in
Oh lord he must have been so so high
He didn’t have a chance to get the needle…Pushed inside..Poor Johnny
Oh yeah woke up this morning….And got me some bad news
On the telephone

That they believe oh Johnny died
Trying to sick his arm one more time
They found him lying in his bed
With a needle in his hand
And I don’t know
How many times I told Johnny
He going to wind up dead one day
So I guess last night
Oh Johnny went to see the man in the sky

I guess he was trying to get high
But I guess he died before he could get that
