Had to do about a million takes and a few editing cheats. Helpful criticism is very welcome on my bass playing, arranging, and mixing.

This sounds really NICE! +3

Nice jam!:) +2
Neronick
helpful criticism cause you asked twice for it: I can hear that the bass is recorded as an overdup. Lines are musically, feeling could be more forcing - and you are fishing for compliments... :D +1

Steve2000 LOL. I noticed the description (best place to ask for criticism) does not show up in the News Feed, so I repeated myself as the first comment. Thanks so much for helping me. :) +0

Like it! +1

I don't play any instruments, so I cannot give any helpful suggestions like Neronick.

But the overall sound is great to me. :)

Steve2000 Thanks! I actually tried to add bass to your lovely B3 remix, but I think I got the chords a bit wrong, so I had to go back to this one. +1

cool guitar from ArtJanis, nice drums from Jaymny and I'm liking the bass. Rounds it out nicely. +1

Tapewounds are sounding yummy :) Have you tried Elixir bass strings? I've been trying out the polywebs for the first time on my electric guitars the last month and am loving how they sounds fresh after much abuse around here. Jam on ;) +1
Steve2000
Steve2000 Thanks Rod! No, I haven't tried Elixir bass strings, but I have had a pack of Elixir Nanowebs sitting here for a while that I am now looking forward to hearing on my acoustic 6-string. +0
Rod_Stevens
Rod_Stevens Cool. A crazy guy on Youtube called Scott (no plug) something convinced me to try them. The nanos are a bit thinner and wont last as long as the polywebs. Don't clean them with any solvents or run a pick up and down the strings (removes the coating) and they'll sound like new for yonks. Ow anyways, commission-less ad break is over. Jam on, man ;) +1
