I wrote this song yesterday. Used a real tracks guitar to play a simple 1,4,5 progression to accompany my vocal, sounds so much better than my finger picking. Adds welcome
Wade
Well played and sung with words of wisdom. +2

Cantaloopo
A very nice song, Gerry. But what is a real tracks guitar? +1
bluvation
bluvation Thanks Heinz:W real tracks are recordings of instruments played by live musicians that can be arranged in whatever progression or song you write much like midi tracks but are actually audio tracks, part of the band in a box program. It's handy for making backing tracks of several instruments very quickly to play along, practice or sing with. +0
Cantaloopo
Cantaloopo I understand, thanks for enlightening me. B)
I feel tempted to play along with "real" fingerpicking, but I think it wouldn't make much sense.

Please give it up for the band!

On the internet no-one can hear you applaud but wikiloops comes close.
It might be "just" home recording, but let's not let go of showing some appreciation for our musicians' creativity. After all, that's what makes the loops go 'round… Hit Thumbs up if you like a jam
