FrankieJ My surname (fathers line) comes from Austria. Tyrol to be exact. From 17th century. Birthplace of Matthias.

Mothers line American Indian and probably England. Not sure how the Mediterranean region figures in but I rule nothing out. Often wondered how musical tastes relates to genealogy. Been into genealogy research for a long time.
