The Last Gladiator
I was in high school in the mid/late 80s, love me some ballads...hair metal and spandex baby lol. I couldn't resist these ballad drums by Peter. Rock on 'loopers! \m/

glad you like it Peter <3 was trying for some emotion and climactic build when the power kicks in. that little sound in the beginning of your playing, what is that? it kinda swayed me with the secondary guitar. i thought something country/twangy went well with it for the intro, then i redid the secondary guitar tracks to still have a little bit of that feel. kinda funny how that sound/effect influenced all the clean parts :D <3 :)

Fantastic Nick do you mean the a sort of Ratamcue thing on the Hihat @0:36 and alittle accent on HH again at 0:41, leastways what I remember playing something like and maybe later on too. You played it perfectly on all the parts its in the vein of the Classic Priest, Queensryche, type ballads I love, thanks so much my fine amigo<3:D:W

its the whispy sound/effect right in the intro playing. it pretty much swayed the intro in one direction for me, then i re-recorded all the secondary guitar clean parts haha :W
