Nice track by Mike and Oli. First listen inspired me to try something on the lap steel. Unfortunately I'm much too rusty on that instrument I quickly found out. But I will keep practicing with it.
So I've tried to play on the guitar what I wanted to play on the steel at the end section.

I was really bummed out I couldn't get thru it on steel. Too much dust on the strings already;) I've made room for it in the little studio instead of keeping it in the closet. Seldom ever play it on my lap. Legs attached.
thanks Oli:) +1

In my head I was hearing Duane Allman and David Lindley. Of course impossible to reproduce either of them.

Yes Frank, a real challenge for my old neurons :D The dimension changes with the format and all the semitones ... New challenge, because the beast is complex and my job is eating me up at the moment ... I would have to be a young retiree too :D;)

My father had a chromatic. I remember fiddling around with it. It was large.
To my ear it sounds like you have already mastered it titi. Some of your notes/phrasings remind me of Stevie Wonder style play. +0

Really know how to make a metal head guitar player cry. I don't care what genre people put this in, I felt happy for the first time in a long fcking time hearing this. It's not the notes, or the strums I hear. It is the comfort I get from the melody that I never experienced as a child.
