Dec, Jan and Feb ... once March hits ... it can still be NASTY but at least there is a glimmer of hope in March .. haha. ;) Anyway for me, it's 3 months ... but we're East coastal .. so it moderates pretty often ... not like out west it's pretty much a deep freeze. :O It's a dry cold they say .. lol +1

Wade My sisters live in Victoria. It's wet, wet wet, wet cold. the kind that penetrates. They are also stuffed because the rains have blocked roads and closed the port so no food or fuel to Vancouver Island. +1

Wade So far there have been four members that have shown up here...all from Europe, none from the Americas...yet. No open borders with 2 weeks quarantine ($3,000) and a 3 month waiting list to be allowed into quarantine! Not the best time to arrive, but once you're here... my favorite surf spot is just 20 minutes away. I live in a National Park and it's National Park land all the way to the beach, JUNGLE! Giant trees and vines with 10 meter tall ferns. Looks like we haven't quite made it out of the Jurassic Period. No snakes, bears, lions, etc. The locals only have a large cricket (weta) that they try to scare the kids with. +2
