I lost where I was at 2:48, you hear me just sit on a D 1-5 for a moment, my head was spinning. Honestly, thank you Dirk for the inspiration, and Mario for that great video of the Chick Corea tune. I love this stuff but a good old fashioned rock song ...

I love how Niacin demonstrates how bass can be primary, and guitar doesn't always have to be the purpose of a jam. Bass doesn't have to submit to a guitar or defer, or hold jock straps, Niacin is inspiring to me for that reason.
