Seriously though, it's the ''tone'' of the instrument itself ( for lack of a better definition.. ) that conveys this… mellow smoothness ?

Wade Don't know how noticeable it is but I've got a hint of wahwah on the soprano to try and match in. I'm using a sax from the 1920s that I rebuilt... for the tone. +2
