In The Still Of The Night
Some beautiful tuned hand drums by Micha inspired me to add some flutes. Many thanks for listening should you have time. Alex❤️

Beautiful interplay between the flutes. It is thrilling for me how you add "sound" layers within a note and gracefully move to the next note!!! Masterful, Alex!!!!

Wow, not only an awesome sax player but also an extremely accomplished flautist. Please don’t tell me you’re also a virtuoso on the keyboards or I shall give up music and take up stamp collecting:D.Love the track by the way and only kidding !:)…… I’ll take up Trainspotting instead

That’s very kind of you Mike❤️ I do play piano but not to any great extent. I’ve done quite a bit of orchestral work on Flute and Piccolo and I do have alto and bass flute in case they’re needed. I stopped playing clarinet recently as I don’t have enough time to dedicate to it to keep it up to playing standards. Those trains will have to wait😂😂😂

#250314 same as this one Paul. It’s a 800 series Yamaha with a Dana Sheridan head joint solid silver with the 14ct gold lip plate and riser. I did use a Powell Grenadilla head joint on the Yamaha for many years but the Sheridan gives me more colours to work with🙏

Thanks for the information. I thought it sounded like gold. Yes, great sound!
I use an inexpensive Jupiter for jazz as it gives a more muddy sound trying to blend in. B) +1
