In the 90's during my travels, I found myself in Minneapolis /St Paul.
I went for dinner at a Tapas Bar downtown and when I arrived and walked in , there was a huge dance floor at the entrance and you crossed it to get to the bar.
I sat down at the bar and ordered some Tapas and some drinks.As I was enjoying my dinner, the DJ fired up and started playing latin tango music much like this. Within seconds two gentlemen , dressed as Spanish Gauchos started dancing and tangoing on the dance floor.
Honestly my first impression was that I was in a gay bar not that that would have bothered my dinner in any way but I was trying to read my environment.
The bartender who saw my confused expression came up and she explained without my asking "In Spain , there is alot of poverty. The men will practice dancing together so they then can court a woman to be their wife".
No sooner then she explained that, women by the dozens started coming in to dance with these guys. And they were stunning, beautiful! By the end of dinner these guys had waiting lists of the most beautiful women waiting to dance with them.There was easily over a hundred women in there suddenly.
I cant help but remember that. Has a nice Santana feel! Nice job. Did you always know Spanish? +1

when I was little, my grandma would watch me, she always spoke to me in Spanish. but since she knew English, I would answer back in English. so I picked up a lot of Spanish from her, more on the listening side than the speaking side hehe :) +1
