It's a short funk pattern played with a violin, a viola and a cello. Two sections. It need at least drums and a bass.

Jofi Well is not a standard cello. They call it "chiviola" and it's a string instrument similar to cello. It's a solid body with a pickup. +1

Jofi The video you referred to is from the lutist who created the instrument I own. It's not simple to play. I more often play it without bow but plucking strings. It sounds similar to a freetless bass. +1
