A sweet track from Frankie that (like many of his tracks) invites us to play a sort of duet. Harmonies, backing, countepoint and melodies are mixed throughout. Such a pleasure to join in on one of his fine tracks.

As fantastic as it is intimate, Wade! These duets need nothing more! They sound fantastic! ;)<3

As you'd know I love playing duets especially when each instrument is pimairly playing one note at a time. It then gives a basic idea of much wider chords and a mix of melodic ideas that aren't actually played. I'm so glad that you hear this... well you should as we've done this so many times together! Thanks Mario.

Wade da music man! Your playing merges this track into a sum-total work of art that would fit into film very nicely.

I've got to admit to "repairing" two mistimed entries in the edit. We strive for that level, yet I seldom achieve it. It doesn't worry me in performance, yet on a recording it's there forever.

Amen, I try for 80% first pass with the intention of getting the feeling into it mainly. Otherwise it is all technology that allows the finish.
The important part is that you can hear / know what is right timing whereas I am still guessing about making it robotically exactly on beat or slightly behind. That takes experience! +1

Not necessairly "robotic". IMHO it works best if more like singing. It's about phrasing which can also be off the beat, however at some points one needs to accent downbeats. A mix of flow and accents.

My guitar sat in a corner. Then I discovered wikiloops and now, not one day has gone by that I haven't played it.
