A beautiful interpretation of the medieval lullaby, also known as ‘Dinogard's Smock’. I tried several approaches and finally decided to play it on a nylon-string guitar tuned to DADGAD. The piano, which can be heard on the original recordings, is initially faded out to bring the voice more to the fore, and then faded back in during the outro. This is my first DADGAD recording, so please forgive any minor imperfections ;)

I love that she is singing in old language Welsh. Your guitar is perfect! Extra thumb just for the creative ear to make this track work. I caught the piano as you described.

Very beautiful and fitting, very sympathetically done, in spirit with the song. Thanks for joining me. #PowysAmByth
