I'm not sure about this bass I added, but it's interesting enough - I took my bass posted earlier with tonality in Ab and used DAW to boost the notes to fit M4fp's piano add and I think it actually works. Not ideal. But considering both were played to just the drums it's quite interesting that it works at all... I'm sure a more suitable Bass track will be added, but for now an interesting experiment.

Anyway, it sounds good for me. This track is perfect for a double bass ( real or digital. Real is better, naturally. ;)Thanks for joining us :) +1

ulfberth Ears refreshed I judge this bass to be fine ! Remarkably. Parallel recordings. Drums as reference. BTW I could not change the key on the piano in the DAW. Chords maybe too complex for software (Logic). +0

Mismatched rhythms - even if key and tonality works - need to play the Bass hearing the piano to fit... +0

Sounds good to me too. It's a good steady contrast to the keys. +0

ulfberth Thank you. I was inspired to add the bass track from your comment that you may contribute if there was a chord progression or a bass line. Heard it in a different key. Parallel to this M4fp added piano in a different key, so I changed the bass. Still open to play on. Meanwhile I continued to add - latest version #325249. +1

Wade Have downloaded. Could be interesting! Don't hold your breath for it to come back anytime soon. Could wind up in the "legacy tracks file". There's around 200 completed tracks there that will start being posted after I can no longer play. May only be a year or so away from that. Physical realities of old age... and all that. +1
