This guitar eems perfect for you.
I've explored this territory a bit and have 3 guitars that attempts the extended range. A baritone DanElectro, a six-string tuned in fifths and an 8-string multi scale. They all reach deeper tones. My 8-string is tuned in 4ths. same as yours but two top strings a semitone higher. Bottom String Drop D. Still have to learn to do it justice. +1

GlezBass Many thanks Ulf! These guitars are devilish!!! I've seen them many times, but I'd never owned one until today! I also have other guitars, although standard scale, tuned to other intonations, like a baritone in B... This whole alternative tuning thing is crazy, but it's worth it because you get new harmonic ranges outside the conventional E 6-string standard. +0
