I like the "superglue" analogy. Curiously I just finished planing my acoustic Double Bass fingerboard and I coated it with Superglue. +1

GlezBass You´re welcome Ulf! I also used cyanoacrylate on my Ibanez fretless bass and my Behringer fretless guitar with satisfactory results after a lot of sanding! ;) +1
