Wade Obviously I don't know what (if anything) you do prior to recording. Bossa music was a very strong influence on me for a long while, so I've "internalized" the sound and variety of "changes" that are common. If these are not that familiar for you, an exercise you can try is to listen to a lot of this style and try singing or humming along until you get it and don't have to try and figure anything out. This is the same for almost any music. If you can sing/hum along, that means that you've internalized the sound. That's the key. +0
