Best thing to do is play along with an existing drum track from wikiloops. Check out the forums. We're all here to help each other. Take a look at what we're all using for equipment and software. You can really rock, the sound just needs to be fatter. Also try and post the chords you are playing to help others join in the jam. The click is just a term used for a background beat or metronome. You can mute it out in your mix or leave it in. The click allows drummers to loop beats with the software and not fall out of time. +0
