I put quite a bit of time in to this bass part. It turned out to be more of a composition than a jam; though it harmonizes with the guitar, the bass part can pretty well stand on its own as a listenable piece. This is due to the extensive use of harmony within the bass part (the bass is rarely playing fewer than 2-3 notes at a time, and often four). It's definitely not a conventional bass part, so ...

I am honored! This may be my favorite of all the tracks I've heard on Wikiloops so far. The chord progression is brilliant. It was a very interesting challenge to incorporate chord tones that made sense harmonically and aurally along with the bass notes, particularly in the case of the more unusual of the "slash chords" (e.g., A/B). Very well done in all respects.
