Already working with jazz 100. Hard enough to mesh two horns. Need charts for anything larger to work. I can read music/charts, but would be happy to never read a chart again. This place (for me )is about jamming. Will leave the composing, writing lyrics, and working out arrangements to the rest of you who are good at that.

Thanks Alice. Glad that spontaneity comes through as that's the way I prefer to approach all the music I play here. Much appreciation and admiration for composers and players like you who can conceive of music from scratch. I just react to what's already there and join in.
