Lovely piece of Latin from JMB65 and Wade's talents. Been meaning to get onto this for quite a while so I decided to do this track as my second and last track for today.
Went for a gentle samba pattern with a bossa-style snare in the main. Beyond that, just a few punctuations before switching over to the backbeat forJMB's funky section. Then back to a Samba for the outro. It's a bit jammed though.
Enjoy.
No reverb on the HD drums.

Such a pleasure to hear you lend this some of your magic. The backbeat in JMB's solo section was amazingly tasty. Love the way you used that rolling beat for the Samba that make it flow and smoothed out my sometimes awkward timing issues. Thanks again and see you soon!

Thanks, Wade. :) My playing's a little lacking in fluidity in places and a couple of the fills are clumsy at best but you know how fussy I am about these things.
Nevertheless, a great track from you both which allows me to step outside my more usual playing areas. I love Latin playing but don't get to do enough it and therefore don't really improve either. +1

Got ya. I love funk and don't play it well either. Sounds like we've got a plan for some mutually beneficial practice time. Ha! See you soon!
