Listen to music.
Time passes and erases my memories.
Sometimes I forget the people I met, who I loved. I forget the smells and the colors, the movements, the atmospheres. I forget the landscapes I discovered, the books I read. Then so many beings left.
But I don't forget your name or your image. And every time I listen to a piece of music, it opens a page of the book I wrote and I then feel a strange feeling as if time today stands still, allowing me to rediscover these moments of time past. Everything is there: mainly the atmosphere that invaded me at that moment. Sometimes that of my adolescence. Memories sometimes intact, sometimes diffuse as if enveloped in a light veil. The duration is diffuse. It is often a period corresponding to an age, a moment of meeting, evenings spent with friends or family. But often it is a period which can extend over time. Only music has this power to be a marker of time. We don't know it when we listen to it and let ourselves be lulled. But one day we realize that time is passing and that the film reel will one day stop.
