One of my favourite tracks from Phil Glass from Koyaanisqatsi, heard it on "Stranger Things" 407 yesterday as well:

I bet you've never heard "Misty" played like this. The late George Shearing blind since birth, a total genius at the piano.

I'm not much of a jazz guy usually, but stumbled upon this cool jazzy tune on the radio lately. It felt real nice :)

I would say this was unexpected but it isn't. Tom Jones can sing and he rocks it with Janis.

Been listening to Bill Connors lately, especially the album 'Assembler' released in 1987. Sounds very early-to-mid 80s Holdsworth, found out some don't like what Bill Connors put out at the time because of that (even Allan Holdsworth talked about it), but to me it's not 100% pure copy, this is less complex, easier to understand, sometimes Holdsworth can be really difficult to follow. And the compositions are pretty nice actually. 'Sea Coy' (at 3:29) and 'Add Eleven' (at 19:26) must be my favourite tracks from this record.

Got to be honest, for the last few months I've been using the latest uploads channel on the wikiloops radio. It's always been interesting but I think wikiloops has hit a golden patch of creativity recently. Ha! Not me, I haven't uploaded anything for a long time.:D

Fully agree Zed - so much talent around here, sometimes I also listen to the radio when I'm out and about...

These days I like listening to Mireia Clua's violin work. She's composing and improvising with an extraordinary talent. Inspiring to me.

ALGORAVE: live coding music (programming language driven). Music from artist Pondskater. Fans of Can and, of course, computer music might enjoy.

Vince Gill with The Eagles... The best country/rock harmony group ever in my opinion. This version of Lyin Eyes is one of the best versions I've heard. Vince fits right in with his guitar playing and lead vocal and is a very worthy substitute for the late, great Glenn Frey

Paco is an unrepeatable musician!! That whole band is made up of great musicians... but Carles Benavent does an exceptional job on the fretless bass at a dizzying rhythm without missing a single note!! Unrepeatable moments!!!
