Think artist when listening to wikiloops

As I play and listen to the many musicians on the wikiloops, I like to take different guitar players, bass players and all the other instruments and try to put the artist together to make a band. Like Akethesnaker Lead Rhythm Guitar - Danalyze45 Lead Rhythm Guitar - Rickplayer Bass Guitar - mpointon Drums

What artist would you put together to make a band on the wiki???

Good lord that is a tough one to answer - good question! I'd have to divide it by genre just to narrow down some of the prodigious talent on here. And some of those talents cross so many genres.

For that reason I'd have to decline a specific answer but, of the collaborations I've had the pleasure of, the following players have been an utter dream to play with (and I've probably forgotten many others!):

Bass: AlexJ, Haddock, Alby, BigMac, CKArmstrong, Jeebsie, DannyK, Carpenter, JMB65, Hingstler
Guitars: Tofzegrit, OliVBee, FrankieJ, Kennyadry, Ivax, Akethesnaker, PaulBOwens, PeterVeillon
Keys: Marceys, Liesching, Hurzel, Cody Tripp, woXey, Blind-Dog, JMRukkers, Piper
Sax: Wade, Fishinmissio, Lutz, Lionelher, cschlote, Pitt Brett
Other brass: Titi, Jaz100, sfiks
Vocals: Aleonz, Shi, Marmotte, Josh Dexter, JDF

A band made of any combination of those players would be an utter pleasure for me and I'm fortunate, in many cases, that I've collaborated with them.

I'd also happily invite DaFunkyDrummer to play instead of me. Just so I can watch and learn.

Wow there are so many great players on here and any of them would make up good bands ! I guess for me as blues is my favourite I look for a good bass player steady drummer has to have keys and harp if possible and then a good brass section and of cause a guitarist who is happy to play good fills and leave spaces for singers - but favourite players I don't think I could pick between them I have heard such excellent playing from so many

There are so many great people that bring unique style to what they do. Some that I notice are woXey, Ivax, Kennyandry, Adu, and Ake just to name a few. I also want to give a shoutout to some of the drummers that have posted great tracks here but have not been on for a while.
Irlenn, Gigster Drum, Wilf67 - where are you guys? We have a lot of great drummers here already, but a few more wouldn't hurt :)

I think i know what i would have put together!
Lead Guitar: TekMetalRulz (He has some serious shredding abilities haha)
Rythm Guitar: Reaper421 or James Doo
Drums: Shumdrummer ofc!
Bass: The one and only Basster!
Vocals: No idea, maybe Reaper421's vocalist he uses in some of his tracks!

That would probably be the hardest hitting metal band on wikiloops!

I just put Pitt Brett, he plays everything !! :)
(sax, harp, Keys, Bass, Guitar, Tuba and he told me he tried the drums one time so... he plays drums too

I did not want to name anyone, I am more or less happy with anyone willing to play anything with me. But having had the pleasure to play live with these guys I would say that they are definitely the ultimate Wiki band: Mpointon drums, Tofzegrit on bass and guitar, Jmrukkers on Hammond, bass or sax, Marceys on keys, and Incivanpico on vocals. I would basically let them play and get them drinks, coffee, whatever and enjoy the music :D

i'd love to see tofz slap the bass while shredding the guitar at once!

Mulambo, one of the most underrated bass players on the Loops...never misses a note, a truly talented bass player

Rhythm Guitar:
KyleGalaz, great song writer and guitar player

Lead Guitar:
Guadana, another underrated player, totally rips

Vocals:
I like Herman420, but honestly, the Loops needs more rocking singers (male/female)....

I am new here, and I've only played for a few people and listen to a few of them. Here they are.

Keyboard: I think Marcey is really good, and Liesching is also very good. I've heard Piexe also play great classical

Bass: Jaeusm is a very good bass player, also Tof is good with bass,.

Guitar: Kennyadry is very nice he can play any style, I also very like Tofzegrit with guitar. Another who is good I think is Yowild

Drums: I want to play the drums with this people but I think Dfunkydrummer is the best. Also mpointon is really great drummer. They are all better than me.

Singers: I like Aleonz a lot. I am his fan. I still dont know male singers here.

Basically what appeals me at Wiki, much more than skills is the creativity.
On that base, I'd like to know, talk, listen to and watch every Wikimember while playing.
I don't want to writte any name here. I hardly have listened to 5% of wiki members...
But on these days and reading back to the thread and limited to what I've listened to so far.
I can say that even if the price to pay is to add disco "beegees" style back vocals on every Wiki's metal tracks to be allowed to spend one day with Cody Tripp in his studio room... I'd go through it...
And if you don't know why, I'd suggest you to take some time and listen to all his uploaded tracks here. Everything we are playing with is nailed by him...
The question is: "who would you put together to make a band on Wiki ?"
If the guy who brings coffee is a band member. I'd like an internship with Cody ;-)

I know I have already posted here, that was a band of people I have already played "live" with. But here I have to choose a band based on people who have worked with me on tracks, or will hopefully soon, they just don't know it yet :). (run!!!)

This is based on the Hiphop Groove Blues thing we have got going at the moment, so here it is, my Wikiloops hipster supergroup:

Drums: Two drummers, like the Allman brothers or James Brown had. LENNY COWLER and RP3drums (Raymond), both terrrrrrrrific drummers, and really nice people, too!! Lenny plays the regular drum kit, Ray plays electronic drums and can loop that through a computer for crazy effects.

Bass: Bhunt1 (Brian) - no need to say much here, everybody appreciates his playing, be it rock or rap, Brian can do it.

Guitars: I play some, but I will be busy getting drinks and cigarettes for the band, so we need some more. There are so many to choose, that's a difficult one. I think I will have Ivax - he is so versatile and can play anything. And Tofzegrit, because he is ze grittest and can double up on bass. He is a slapper :D . And he is beautiful.

Singers: For rap it has to be Crazyo - a fine rapper and Rkane that combination would be KILLER. Then I would like Shi and Anne Cozean to sing the hooks and songs too, they can sing anything including rap, ballads, anything. And they are beautiful, too! And how could I forget AKchen??? She must be in the band too!

Additional members: Zamzam and Piper, they play between them any other instrument you can imagine. Keys, percussion, flutes, bagpipes (in case we need to go to war), and the list goes on.

Band Manager: Frankieguitar he is not in any band yet, so I have to grab him before someone else does. And he is my VOX-bro too ;)

That's it... a dream indeed!

I like to experiment a lot... with many genres... and since i'm still very young on wikiloops I have no favorites so far.
It takes more listening to figure that out.

That said, I for sure would love to form a band with members that dare to try out each and every genre and even create new ones.. or undefinable ones. Think out of that box.. or better just think without a box at all. Not in it or out of it :D

I also would them band members to be persons that have some sort of structure.. as I lack that completely and after 10 years of trying hard I gave up...it's not in me.... structure.. so I need others for that :D :D :D

My 2 cents... now back to surfing wikiloops :)
