My parents were discussing bands from the 1960s when a band called The Peddlers was mentioned. I'd not heard of them before and thought I would check them out on Youtube. Turned out they were an R&B/Jazz trio with soulful vocals and organ.

In this clip from 1971 they are in fine form and clearly having fun. If this energy could only be bottled (particularly from the drummer) it would make a fortune ! :)

The drummer was Trevor Morais who lost out to Ringo when the Beatles wanted a replacement for Pete Best. Well the Beatles did ok with Ringo, but it makes you wonder.

Thanks for sharing this link Lobias. I've never heard about them before. They are great...

Jm, could you please explain me (or us), what a "Nice blonde A-100" is. 'cause From a "French" guitar player It means a girl wearing a bra A100 sized ^^

Nilton, in France we call that way of handling a bass or a guitar the "gypsies style" 'cause it's the only way to play the guitar if 15 in a trailer (or caravan)^^

Davebee... Looking at your avatar pic, it seems that the Peddlers bass player, hugely influenced your way of handling a guitar ^^

Sorry for that non productive post... And no offense... I couldn't help myself :)
Anyway watching that vid... I do hope that on his next Youtube Vid' Martin will pay tribute to Trevor Morais wearing the same Wig...

Sorry again... :)

Hi JM, is it correct that the A100 was essentially a B3 built for home use ? I know very little about them - just love the sound :)

You're welcome mate, glad you liked them. Don't know whether it was a wig or not, but he looked to be getting a bit hot under there :) Like your sense of humour btw:)

Found this track by them which has a melancholy, gothic vibe. One of the lines goes "you're the hurt behind a tear" so perhaps unrequited love, but a great tune nonetheless.
