Spacebar for start/stop

Most programs i use for audio have the space bar on the keyboard assigned to a start/stop function (except m$ win media player, but who is surprised).
It would be very nice to have the same assignment in the wikiloops player. I find myself hitting the space bar all time trying to stop a playback with little result...

Hey Nilton,
while diggin thru thousands of lines of javascript lately, I actually found the keyboard controls for the wikiloops audio player too, and the reason why it has not been working any longer in the current version :)
Using the space bar is a bit difficult, because you certainly do not want to start/stop the player anytime you are entering spaces into a comment or shoutbox entry, so I went for the numeric pad and assigned start/stop to the "0" key, return to start of track to the "1" and volume controls to the "+" and "-" buttons, that seems quite convenient for now, hope that works for you as well :)

hmmm thinking about it a bit longer, I might as well try to make use of the space bar, all thats needed to avoid conflicts is a previous check if you are typing into some kind of input... will see what i can do :)

@ulo: um die steuerung des WL players per PC-tastatur - der "space bar" ist die "leer" taste.

not sure I understood correctly - you are planning to motivate your developers by saying
"you don't want to be in the same boat with windows media player, do you?" - that would indeed be nice :D
